Antiphellos Ancient City, which is also about a ten-minute walk from the district center, is one of the must-see places during the city tour. Kaş Ancient Theater is located on the seaside overlooking Meis Island. The most important feature of the theater is that it is the only theater with a single facade to the sea in Anatolia. The only remaining cistern in the area extending from the bazaar to the ancient theater, dating back to the 5th century BC, is one of the rare remnants of Kaş. Another alternative during the city tour is the Meis tour, one of the closest Greek Islands to Turkey, which is only 2,100 meters away from Kaş. You can visit Meis Island on ferries departing from Kaş for a day trip.
