All these data are evaluated digitally by the dental specialist and the predicted smile is designed. A silicone mould is obtained from this design and placed on the patient’s teeth. The design is examined in front of a mirror or with a camera. For approximately 2 sessions, the design is shown to the patient in the mouth.

Afterwards, the doctor decides what kind of procedures should be done in order to achieve the best smile design. The treatment process is started according to the preferred digital design. From this process, the result is obtained in about 3 sessions. After smile design treatment, patients should definitely pay attention to oral hygiene and should not neglect their routine dental checks.

The Importance of Rehearsal in Smile Design

The main purpose of the rehearsal in smile design is for the patient to approve the smile design, to indicate the points of disapproval and to change and correct them. These changes can be made in the same session or can be shifted to several sessions.
